Jupiter was a Roman god whose worship was viewed as pagan idolatry and a conflict with early Christian beliefs, and the Bible condemns this practice. While the pagan god Jupiter, who was equated with the Greek god Zeus, is not a direct figure in biblical theology, the concepts of pagan worship and idolatry were central challenges for early Christians. In some modern interpretations, the planet Jupiter is sometimes used in religious symbolism to represent Christ or other Christian concepts, thoug

Early Christianity interacted with and responded to the worship of the Greek and Roman god Apollo, with some Christians drawing parallels and others demonizing the pagan deity. A key figure is the Christian preacher Apollos, distinct from the god Apollo, who was tutored in the Christian faith by Priscilla and Aquila.

Demetrius is a name associated with Christianity through at least two figures: Saint Demetrius of Thessalonica, a 3rd-century Christian martyr and patron saint of soldiers, and Demetrius the silversmith, a pagan who incited a riot against the Apostle Paul in the New Testament. Dear Brother Doug, I will try to be available for your show. What is your usual broadcast time? I don’t have regular availability during the weekends because that’s usually when my wife wants to do stuff together with my family. My work schedule is weekdays 1900 (7 pm) to 330 am. The first two hours I might be busy, it depends on the delivery trailers. After 2100 (9 pm) I’m usually able to talk. My commute is an hour one way if you want to talk before work if you’re ok with road noise.
